Publish on marketplace
Learn how to publish a blueprint on the marketplace and share it with the GSA community.
Introโ
For this guide, we assume you have already created a blueprint and ensured it is working properly.
Make sure you only publish your own work on the marketplace, or have permission to publish the work of others (through an open-source license, for example) and give appropriate credit to the author.
Publish Blueprintโ
To publish something on the marketplace, you need a GSA account that has made at least one (add-on) purchase. This requirement helps us reduce spam on the marketplace.
1. Marketplace Checklistโ
You can find the Marketplace checklist
on the blueprint Settings
page. The checklist helps you prepare the blueprint for publishing.
2. Set Up Summary, Image, etc.โ
Enter a summary, description, and image to help people understand what your blueprint is about.
2.1 Summaryโ
The summary is the first thing people see when browsing the Blueprint Marketplace.

2.2 Descriptionโ
The description allows you to provide more details about the blueprint, reference sources, and more.

2.3 Imageโ
The image is visible on the marketplace next to the summary and above the description.
3. Publish Versionโ
Only Published
blueprint versions are visible on the marketplace. Newly created blueprint versions (DEV mode) won't be visible. Learn more about blueprint version states >

Here is an example of how the author name is displayed:
5. Submit for Approvalโ
After completing all steps of the checklist, you can submit the blueprint for approval.
Use the Preview
button to see how the blueprint will look on the marketplace.
Confirm that you want to publish the blueprint.
After submitting the blueprint, a GSA representative will review your creation. If everything is in order, it will be published to the marketplace.
Publish New Versionโ
After creating a new blueprint version and testing the changes on your dashboard, you can publish the new version to the marketplace.
First, select the version you want to publish, then click Publish now
.
